Spanish Lessons

Hey Bloggers,
For the past two weeks, in the Toroa hub, we have been doing Spanish lessons.  I have learnt how to count to ten and the names of some of the colours.  Also, we have learnt that there are different words and letters for female and male when they are speaking.

one of the tasks that we had was to colour in a cartoon character, but the instructions and names of colours were in Spanish.
All of the lessons were on joinpd.com.

Technology Is Taking Over

Technology Is Taking Over
I believe that we should get rid of all the computers because they are taking over the world and soon all humans will have computers in them.

First of all, think of Neil Harbisson he has put computer chips and another tech in his head and now can see a lot more than a normal human but it could be dangerous to install it in his head and you could possibly die.

Then there is Siri
Although he or she could be helpful they could also lead us to death while using maps and other things like that.  Also, Siri could be used to be lazy and not be physical.

Last of all there is Kasparov
He was a very good chess player back in the 1980s.
Everybody believed that he was the best in the world until a computer beat him.  when he was beaten he realised that when computers evolve that people will start to lose their jobs and not be able to make money for their families.

There is no doubt that people will have their opinions but I believe that technology will soon take over.

Having Cell Phones In The Classroom

Having Cell Phones In The Classroom.
Last Thursday in Gillstrom literacy we did debating,  In my opinion,  I think that it went well. Here are some of the things that went well during the session.

  • Some of the speakers were confident and knew what they were saying.
  • For example, my team was better organized when it came to having questions, statements and solutions to the other team's statements.
But also there were some things that we need to work on, such as
  • Some speakers were not confident.
  • The speakers were being interrupted while they were making a statement.
In my opinion, I think that they shouldn't be in classrooms because they are distracting and could stop students from doing work.  They also could use them to cheat on tests.  They could be used for cyberbullying.
Thank you for reading my post.
